Meow Village began with a few compassionate individuals caring for a feral cat colony in Aurora, Oregon. What started as a grassroots effort to provide for these cats quickly expanded into a dedicated mission to help many more felines in need. Our primary focus remains on improving the lives of feral cats by relocating them to safe barn homes or assisting vulnerable cats that might not be taken in by other rescues.
Our mission is simple yet profound: to rescue and rehabilitate cats, with an emphasis on feral cats. We believe that every cat deserves a second chance and the opportunity to thrive in a safe environment. Our volunteers work tirelessly to provide medical care, socialization, and nurturing environments for the cats in our care, ensuring they receive the attention and love they need.
As an all-volunteer organization, we rely on the kindness and generosity of our community to support our mission. Our foster-based approach allows us to provide individualized care and attention to each cat while ensuring they are safe and well cared for.
At Meow Village, we are passionate about raising awareness and educating the community about responsible pet ownership, the importance of spaying and neutering, and the challenges faced by feral cats. Through outreach programs and events, we strive to create a compassionate and informed community that values the welfare of all animals.
Thank you for supporting Meow Village and helping us make a difference in the lives of cats in need. Together, we can create a brighter future for our feline friends!
